The Avengers

For comic book fans, it really doesn't get more exciting than this, an assembly of all their favourite super-heroes from the Marvel Universe! Together. In one film!

While the ground work has been laid over the years with several Hulks, a couple of Ironmen, Captain America and a Thor or two, never before have they been united in battle on screen!

Watch Samuel L. Jackson explain how fanboy director Joss Whedon brought a celestial order to the Marvel Universe, then Joss admit that while he indulged the studios' prerequisite for explosions and heroic action, he wanted to make a film about these peculiar characters who didn't want to be alone.

Hear Scarlett Johannson dismiss the implausibility of finding this group in a single film, and how you need to just get over it. Listen to Chris Evans explain how, despite the potential towering egos of cast and character alike, there was a camaraderie on set because, they may be in it for the long haul together. Then watch Mark Ruffalo reveal how he was determined to be as impressive at 'The Hulk' as he was to give Bruce Banner charm, and how he can't wait to show his 'little Hulk!'

John Carter

It's a little difficult to craft an origin story when the films it inspired were STAR WARS and AVATAR, but that's the ambition of JOHN CARTER!

Adapted from A PRINCESS OF MARS by Edgar Rice Burroughs, a book that had a huge role in creating the science fiction genre not to mention the movies and TV series it inspired, JOHN CARTER dared to go to a galaxy far away before any of the others!

Watch director Andrew Stanton describe how this book stuck with him from an early age and how he was almost forced to make the transition to live-action from his spectacular animated films like WALL.E and FINDING NEMO when Disney gave him the chance!

Listen to star Taylor Kitsch explain the transformation his character endures going from an American civil war to a Martian one, and how difficult the change in gravity was to pull off visually!
See Willem Dafoe relate the complexities of working on stilts to become a 9 foot tall green Martian with four arms!
Then hear Lynn Collins try to explain the contradiction of her character the Princess, a "peaceful benevolent warrior!"
