More THOR

Director Kenneth Branagh may have taken risk casting our own Chris Hemsworth as his God Of Thunder, but the risk paid off with rave reviews rolling in about Hemsworth's performance, and plans to lock in a sequel announced within just one week of the film's release.

Many claimed signing on Branagh himself was also a risk with the British director more akin to Shakespeare than Superheroes. But he too has critics deleting their Tweets by delivering a strong, solid epic adventure - in 3D - with an equally engaging origin story that makes his THOR accessible to both fans and new recruits.

Movie News continues its chat with the mighty cast and crew to find out how Branagh fared in the Marvel Universe, Hemsworth's own journey into it, and who he had to fight off for the title role!

Jeremy Saunders - The Movie Poster Guy

Movie Posters are as old as the moving image itself, yet they still have the most impact on the marketing of a movie. They are most often the first contact we have with a film, and have a huge influence in how the moviegoer initially reacts to that film. Just one image defines plot, genre, tone... and whether you what to hand over your hard earned cash to see the film.

With all of this in mind you can only image the blood, sweat and (alot) of tears that goes into designing these posters.

Movie News hunted down Australia's leading movie poster guy (or key artist for the industry pros) Sydney based Jeremy Saunders, to find out what's involved in capturing that one image for the movie goers, while pleasing producers, distributors and studios alike.

It's a tough gig but someone's gotta do it.
