Wasted on the Young

"Just because you got away with it, does it make it right?"

That's the key question in WASTED ON THE YOUNG, a new drama from Australian filmmaker Ben Lucas.

Inspired by various true events, the film does investigate the perception that winners and the rich "get away with murder", especially in the grounds of private and elite schools.

At its heart, the movie could be described as a love story, bleak and disturbing as some elements are. But above all it certainly is a slick and thrilling ride that will universally speak to teenagers with its themes of peer pressure, innocence, and the increasing concerns of cyber-bullying today.

The Adjustment Bureau

A romantic thriller is not a common genre of film, but the wildly entertaining THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU is a notable example.

Based on a short story by prolific sci-fi writer Phillip K. Dick and expanded into the romantic realm by George Nolfi, this odd mixture of elements creates a suspenseful story that is fueled by passion, and the determination of one couple to defy fate for the sake of love.

Listen to Matt Damon describe how the night he met his wife was perhaps not predetermined, and how Emily Blunt beat out over 800 dancers who couldn't act, to become the actor who learned how to dance.
