Adaptations of foreign-language films are notoriously tricky since humour clearly is geographically challenged! DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS is a remake of the French comedy THE DINNER GAME, though at least in this version there is an actual dinner scene, where ridicule and public humiliation become sport for the sophisticates.
