The Social Network

You don't have to be a Facebook fan to sign up for The Social Network.

Director David Fincher (FIGHT CLUB, PANIC ROOM) and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin (WEST WING, A FEW GOOD MEN) have delivered a thrilling drama about the controversy surrounding the invention of Facebook.

The film follows two law suits filed against founder Mark Zuckerberg. Apparently he stole the social network concept, and then scammed his one and only best friend (and initial investor) out of millions of dollars.

The film is based on fact, and, as Aaron Sorkin explained to Movie News, involved thousands of lawyers trawling through the screenplay for any inaccuracies and/or acts of defamation.

Those who are familiar with Sorkin's razor sharp, trademark dialogue, will appreciate Jesse Eisenberg's fantastic performance as Mark Zuckerberg. We also spoke with Jesse about his preparation for the role, his thoughts on Zuckerberg's actions, and why the world's youngest billionaire is really a tragic hero.

The filmmakers made no friends making this movie, what they have made is this year's must see.
